Glendale University College of Law

Accreditation

Glendale University College of Law has maintained continuous accreditation and good standing with the State Bar of California since accreditation was granted to the law school in 1978.

A tremendous resource in higher education, law schools accredited by the State Bar of California have created access to legal education for thousands of men and women.

State Bar accreditation is extended to a select group of California law schools that meet or exceed specific requirements and standards encompassed in The Rules Regulating Accreditation of Law Schools (The Rules).

The Rules regulate admissions, curriculum, scholastic standards, library, faculty, institutional governance, and financial integrity. State Bar accredited law schools are scrutinized regularly and thoroughly through reports and site visits by the Committee and its legal education consultants.

In December 2005, Glendale University College of Law was found to be in compliance with these requirements and standards following a 3-day visitation by legal education consultants from the State Bar of California.
